Carlos Vazquez: Pitching, Hitting, Fielding
Coach Vazquez is a South Side Chicago native who has been playing baseball since he was 7 years old. After growing up playing with Cubs RBI and competing at the varsity level in high school, he continued his playing career as a semi-professional athlete in Mexico, where he spent two years competing at a high level.
Coach Vazquez has also experienced the challenges of baseball injuries firsthand, undergoing both labrum repair and Tommy John surgery before successfully completing rehabilitation and returning to competition. His own recovery has shaped his approach to athlete development, giving him a unique understanding of throwing mechanics, mobility, arm care, strength development, and injury prevention.
Carlos is passionate about helping athletes become more efficient and confident movers, while developing the strength and resilience necessary to handle the demands of baseball. His goal is to help each athlete improve performance while building habits that support longevity throughout their career.
