Kirk Tomski - Hitting, Catching, Defense

Kirk Tomski joins BASH as one of our catching-development instructors, bringing a specialized program built for catchers who want to take command behind the plate. His instruction covers receiving and framing, blocking and recovery, footwork, transfers, exchange speed, throwing mechanics, pop-time development, game calling, pitcher management, leadership, and the mental demands of the position.

Kirk is also an accomplished hitting instructor who helps athletes develop efficient, repeatable swings, stronger timing, disciplined approaches, and confident at-bats.

A former collegiate catcher and athletic-scholarship athlete at Dakota Wesleyan University, Kirk was part of both a Michigan high school state runner-up team and a USSSA Michigan state runner-up team. As head coach of the Oakland Reds 14U, he led the team to a 16–4 record, an .800 winning percentage, and three tournament championships, including two USSSA tournament titles.

Through his dedicated catching-development system, Kirk gives catchers the specialized instruction, structure, and individual attention the position demands. BASH athletes now have access to a level of position-specific catching instruction rarely available through a
traditional private-lesson program.
