Erin Olson - Softball Pitching

Coach Erin grew up in Great Falls, Montana. As a senior, she was named the 2017–18 Gatorade Montana Softball Player of the Year. During that season, she posted a 0.79 ERA while helping lead Great Falls High School to an undefeated Montana Class AA State Championship. 

Erin continued her career at Kirkwood Community College, where she earned NJCAA Second Team All-American and First Team All-Region honors as a freshman. She finished the season with 274 strikeouts, recorded 10 shutouts, and helped lead Kirkwood to a fourth-place finish at the NJCAA National Tournament, where she received National All-Tournament Team honors.

Following her freshman season, Erin transferred to DePaul University to compete at the NCAA Division I level. During her career with the Blue Demons, she was part of DePaul’s 2021 BIG EAST Regular Season Championship team. As a senior, she threw 106.2 innings and recorded two shutouts.

After graduating in 2022, outside of work, Erin transitioned into coaching and instruction, including coaching at Walsh Jesuit High School and providing private pitching lessons through Premier Athletics in Ohio. Now back in Chicago, she is excited to bring the knowledge and experience gained throughout her playing and coaching career to the city.
